Evaluation
All students worked on the topic of integration of the Other from the visual perspective. The initial objective was reached although some students did not manage to complete their films. The quality of their involvement and their rapid mastering of the required tools demonstrate the success of the project. Furthermore, attendance at lectures and completion of research and fieldwork (interaction, interviews, technical practise) provided the students with new skills.
The students attended the videoconferencing regularly even though we faced technical problems with our connections. Moreover, a strike paralysed our university in spring 2006. Despite these inconveniences, our students were well motivated and worked hard to complete the project.
The students should have had access to the e-learning platform broadcasting live lectures in English, which was made simultaneously available to the Estonian, German and UK partners. However, our students could not attend the lectures due to technical glitches and timing problems. They did manage to access the Minerva site later.
